Welcome to Portale, a product offered by CNM Collective (Pty) Ltd. By accessing this website or using any Portale products or services, you agree to the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please refrain from using this website or product.
1. Definitions
• Portale refers to the NFC-powered physical product and the digital portal linked to it.
• The Company refers to CNM Collective (Pty) Ltd, the legal owner of Portale.
• User, Customer, or You refers to anyone who purchases, uses, or accesses a Portale product or the website.
• Digital Portal refers to the customisable web-based profile linked to your NFC tag.
2. Use of the Website and Digital Portal
You may not use this website or product for any illegal, fraudulent, or unethical activity.
You may not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce the Portale system, NFC configuration, digital portal structure, or brand assets.
All digital portal content must comply with South African law and may not include harmful, illegal, or offensive material.
3. NFC & Technical Limitations
Portale requires an internet connection and a compatible device for full functionality.
CNM Collective is not responsible for:
• weak or unavailable network signal
• device-specific NFC limitations
• third-party hosting issues
• outages caused by your mobile provider
The product is provided “as is” and functionality may vary across devices.
4. Ownership & Intellectual Property
All intellectual property relating to Portale, including designs, portal layouts, workflows, NFC configurations, branding, and product concepts, belongs to CNM Collective (Pty) Ltd.
Your purchase grants you a licence to use your digital portal and physical tag but does not grant ownership of the underlying system.
You may not reproduce, sell, or create competing products based on Portale concepts or assets.
5. Updates and System Changes
Portale may undergo updates or improvements at any time.
These updates may affect the design or features of your portal.
Continued use of the system constitutes acceptance of these updates.
6. Service Availability
CNM Collective attempts to maintain reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.
Maintenance, outages, or technical updates may occur without notice.
7. Payments, Refunds & Cancellations
Because Portale tags and portals are custom-built, refunds are not offered once work has begun.
If a physical tag is defective, it will be replaced at no additional cost.
8. Liability Limitations
To the extent allowed by South African law, CNM Collective will not be liable for:
• loss of data
• business interruption
• indirect or consequential damages
• issues caused by third-party software or hosting platforms
Your use of Portale is at your own discretion and risk.
9. Privacy
Your personal information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
By using Portale, you consent to the collection and processing of information required for the creation of your portal.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes will be resolved under South African jurisdiction.
